استخدام حروف الجر للإشارة إلي الوقت

*** نستخدم حرف الجر at عند الإشارة إلي وقت محدد ( الساعة ) 0

The first class is at eight o'clock
I'm going to have lunch at one thirty
They will come back at six o'clock

*** ونستخدم حرف الجر at قبل كلمة night فنقول at night

I go to bed very late at night
She doesn't watch TV at night

*** نستخدم حرف الجر in عندما نشير إلي فترة زمنية معينة 0

I get up early in the morning
We have lunch in the afternoon
I sometimes go to the movies in the evening

*** ونستخدم حرف الجر in قبل أسماء الشهور 0

It's very cold in February
The weather gets warm in may
Christmas is in December

*** ونستخدم حرف الجر on قبل أيام الإسبوع وقبل كلمة weekend ( نهاية الأسبوع )
فنقول on the weekend

I saw him on Tuesday
I'm going to the club on Wednesday
You will see me on the weekend

*** ونستخدم حرف الجر by قبل ذكر زمن معين فنقول by nine o'clock وهي تعني
بحلول الساعة التاسعة أو في موعد أقصاه الساعة التاسعة 0

I'll call you by nine
We finished the work by five

*** ونستخدم حرف الجر until قبل التعبير عن زمن معين فنقول until five o'clock
وتعني حتي الساعة الخامسة ، أي ليس بعد الساعة الخامسة 0

I'll wait for you until four
She studied until midnight
